Purple Cayenne (Capsicum anuum) is a pepper that can put an ornamental twist on your garden. This plant will produce 3-6″ long fruits that are tapered and sometimes twisted, maturing from green to purple. The purple variety are a little sweeter than traditional red, but still have the same classis mild heat. Scoville rating is 35,000-50,000 SHU
