You are bidding on 15 SANGO KAKU CORAL BARK JAPANESE MAPLE SEEDS – Acer palmatum ‘Sango-kaku’.
This cultivar is one of the coral bark varieties noted for its coral-red bark that is particularly showy in the fall and winter after the leaves drop. The best leaf and bark coloration occur when Sango Kaku is grown in full sun.
The deeply cut bright light green-yellow leaves with red margins turn to gold, orange and red in fall. The color intensifies in cold weather to almost salmon, and although it produces its best color in full sun, new foliage may scorch. This is drought tolerant .
